Plagiomnium affine
by Rochelle Hull Date Added: Monday 05 October, 2009
I didn't have any decoration or driftwood to attach this too, so I just laid it out on my pebble substrate. At first I kept it under the bit of mesh that was sent along with the plant, but now it doesn't try to float anymore, and is growing splendidly on my tank's floor. However, this means that mine does not "weep". It's viney tendrils are reaching upwards, which gives it a very interesting look. This may have to do with the fact that my betta fish aquarium has still water, and so it is free to grow as it wishes. Or, maybe once it is longer it will droop more. Either way it is a beautiful, bright green, healthy plant.
